Agreement

By creating an account or using Ballrs, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

The Game

Ballrs is a sports trivia game where you:

• Guess mystery players from clues
• Compete with friends in duels
• Join leagues and climb leaderboards
• Earn XP and level up

The game is free to play.

Your Account

Username

• You must choose a username to play.
• Your username is public and visible to other players.
• You are responsible for your account activity.

Username rules

Your username must NOT:

• Impersonate another person
• Contain offensive, hateful, or inappropriate language
• Include personal information (real names, phone numbers, etc.)
• Violate any laws

We reserve the right to change or remove usernames that violate these rules.

Account security

• If you link an email, keep your password secure.
• You're responsible for all activity on your account.
• Let us know if you think someone else is using your account.

Playing Fair

Do

• Play honestly
• Treat other players with respect
• Report bugs or issues

Don't

• Cheat, hack, or exploit bugs
• Use automated tools or bots
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other players
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate leaderboards
• Reverse engineer or modify the app

Content

Our content

The app, design, questions, and game mechanics are owned by Ballrs. You can't copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.

Player data

Sports data in the game (player names, teams, statistics) is used for entertainment purposes. We strive for accuracy but don't guarantee it.

Leagues and Duels

• League creators can manage their leagues.
• We may remove inactive leagues.
• Duel results are final once both players complete the challenge.
• We reserve the right to void results if cheating is detected.

Availability

• We aim to keep Ballrs available 24/7, but can't guarantee it.
• We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time.
• Daily puzzles reset at midnight UTC.

Termination

You can leave

Delete your account at any time by going to Profile > Settings > Delete Account, or by contacting us.

We can remove you

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these terms
• Cheat or exploit the game
• Harass other players
• Are inactive for extended periods (anonymous accounts)

Disclaimers

• Ballrs is provided "as is" without warranties.
• We're not responsible for data loss, service interruptions, or device issues.
• This is a game for entertainment. Don't rely on it for actual sports information.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ballrs and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms. We'll notify you of significant changes through the app.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New York.
